13/4/11 – China sets out its manufacturing capability
Chinese manufacturers will be showing off its manufacturing capability at its major event starting on 15 April, the Canton Fair. According to the organisers, China is upgrading its manufacturing industry and Chinese exhibitors have invested significantly in R&D and development of their own products and brands. Innovation and environmental sustainability has become an important focus, resulting in better quality products and services – matched to buyers’ requirements.
The organizers provides trade matching services to better link buyers with suppliers. The Canton Fair is the most important and successful trading platform between China and rest of the world. Every year, the fair sees billions of dollars worth of deals signed. The fair will cover over 1,160,000 square meters and will accommodate 58,706 exhibition stands. Over 20,000 Chinese and foreign companies will participate in the fair. It is a must for foreign companies wanting to develop their businesses and reap trading benefits with China.
The first phase of the fair covers the following industrial areas –
electronics and household electrical appliances; hardware and tools;
machinery; vehicles and spare parts; building materials; lighting & equipment and chemical products.
