6/9/10 – Rush Machinery CNC Carbide Rod Cut-off Machine to be demonstrated at IMTS 2010

Rush Machinery Inc, a specialist in manufacturing and servicing support machinery for the cutting tool industry, plans to demonstrate its Auto-Cut CNC Carbide Rod Cut-Off machine next week at IMTS 2010 in Chicago.
The machine allows tool manufacturers to cut carbide rod into exact lengths. As the machine loads and cuts the carbide rod automatically it can be left unattended. The machine also features full enclosure of the work area and a flood coolant system as standard. A fire suppression system for use with oils is optional.
It also accommodates for long production runs as the machine features a large capacity magazine with an automatic loader. Parametres can be quickly set for rod diameter (capacity from 0.55" to 1-9/16") and length with easy to use CNC and an edge detection system monitors and compensates for wheel wear.
