MM Live UK 2012 – Call for Papers
MM, MEMS & NANO LIVE UK 2012 – Call For Papers
Advancing Manufacturing Innovation through Micro Manufacturing, MEMS and Nano Technology.
Rapid News Communications Group is delighted to announce the Call for Papers for the 2012 edition of two highly engaging conference programmes to accompany the MM/MEMS/NANO LIVE UK exhibition. This high-precision engineering and manufacturing event will take place at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, UK, on 25–26 September 2012.
Whilst micro manufacturing, MEMS and nano technologies have all already made a significant impact on the manufacturing landscape through their ability to offer new and innovative products that have significantly enhanced performance, there still remains a wealth of innovative potential available for manufacturers exploit. In order to advance their commercialisation and engage the widest possible target audience, Rapid News Communications Group is now calling for outstanding abstract submissions for inclusion in the following two conference areas.
MM LIVE UK 2012 – Innovations in Micro Manufacturing
Addressing the product miniaturisation trend or enhancement of products with micro structured features or surfaces, abstracts relating to advances in production, assembly and handling processes such as micro moulding, laser micromachining, electroforming, finishing, micro metrology, or any other relevant subtractive or additive manufacturing process are welcome.
MEMS LIVE UK & NANO LIVE UK 2012
Innovations in MEMS – Advances in design, fabrication and validation through to the development and commercialisation of new product applications.
Nano technology for high performance engineering applications – Papers relating to the commercial opportunities presented by nano enhanced materials and coatings and their applications in engineering.
Metrology and Instrumentation – Papers are welcome from providers of micro and nano metrology, inspection and analytical services. In addition, papers relating to professional services, funding and finance, health and safety, and market analysis are all also welcome.
All submissions must be non-promotional in content and presented by companies or institutions that are utilising and/or researching technologies or services for an industrial application. Exhibitors are welcome to submit practical application-based case studies.
Interested parties are initially requested to submit an abstract of 250 words of their proposed paper on or before 1st June 2012. This should include the paper title, presenter’s name, affiliations and biography and a short abstract.
