Ludger Heuberg appointed new CFO of H.C. Starck

Ludger Heuberg will join global supplier of refractory metals, technical ceramics, and conductive polymers, H.C. Starck GmbH as Chief Financial Officer on November 1, 2010.
He said, "I look forward to take on new challenges at H.C. Starck. I am convinced of the great potential of H.C. Starck as a leading manufacturer of refractory metals and technical ceramics in a dynamic industry."
He will be responsible for Finance, Controlling, Mergers & Acquisitions, Taxes, Organization & Information, Accounting and Law.
Heuberg started his professional career in 1985 with Bosch. He went on to hold senior finance and HR positions st Rheinmetall AG, Kolbenschmidt Pierburg AG and Lufthansa Cargo AG. Since 2004, he worked as Director of Finance and HR at Thomas Cook AG and from 2007 also as Group CFO of Thomas Cook Group plc in London.
